Embody Chair - Zoned SupportThe seat of the Embody Chair conforms to individual pressure points of the sitter. It is wide and frameless to accommodate varying pelvic widths. The seat is designed to distribute weight evenly across the seat pan.
The suspension material is held in position through pre-tensioned coiled springs, similar to the approach used in the design of pocket-sprung mattresses. These are fixed to a base layer of supporting strings held between the underside edges of the polymer base of the seat. This technology, known as pixelated support, results in sitting pressure being applied to exact areas of the seat, delivering user comfort and total body support.
